Dear Viking Families,
You know it’s spring when the weather begins to warm up and when songwriter’s night is coming! Please save the dates on your calendar and make sure you attend this wonderful annual show that also benefits our school!
I want to take a moment to congratulate our formal Teacher of the Year who will go on to represent our school in the state TOY competition, Mr. Doug Price! For those of you who know Mr. Price this will come as no surprise as Mr. Price’s class is engaging and challenging and everything we want to be at Voyager Academy. Congratulations Doug and good luck in the next stage!
I also want to take a moment to congratulate our Outstanding Young Educator, Ms. Meghan Taylor. Meghan is new to Voyager Academy but we couldn’t be more happy with our young teachers including Ms. Taylor. We are thankful for the commitment she has already shown to her students and for her representation in the Durham Jaycees OYE competition!
We will be celebrating our teachers’ efforts in a couple weeks, but if you see these two teachers around campus please take a minute to congratulate them and tell them thanks for all they do!
