Welcome Back
Welcome back Vikings! It was another very wet start this year, but much better compared to last year’s hurricane. We appreciate everyone’s patience and diligence as we adjust schedules during the first few days, and work out technology issues with students, i.e. passwords, logins, etc..
We were very excited to open our new Voyager Academy Performing Arts Center. It is great for our performing arts students and teachers to have their own place, while it provides some much needed extra space at the high school building.
Please be reminded that if you are looking for information, a good place to start is the high school website: http://voyageracademy.net/vahs.
Hey students! We encourage you to get involved outside the classroom with a sport or a club. Click here to see all of the great clubs and organizations available to students.

Open House Is Aug. 11, 5:30pm
Open House (for both parents and students) for Fall 2025 takes place on Monday, Aug. 11, 2025, from 5:30pm – 7:15pm.
Parents have the opportunity to meet teachers, and receive an overview of classes,
as they walk through an abbreviated student schedule.
Please check your email for a message from the school about Open House that contained a link to the required (free) ticket for entry. This is used to increase security for the event.
Here is the schedule…

9th Grader/New Student Orientation
On Tuesday Aug. 6th, VAHS hosted a 9th grader/new student orientation, as we welcome all new students to VAHS. At VAHS we place an emphasis on including new students and helping them feel a sense of belonging. Among the goals of the orientation were to ensure a smooth transition, provide valuable information, and to put freshmen and new students on a pathway to a successful and exciting high school experience.
Orientation consists of activities, games, discussion, and general exploration, led primarily by upper-class student volunteers. 9th graders and new students experienced sessions on the following: Canvas; Academic Rigor & Integrity; Sports, Clubs and Activities; Social-emotional Learning; A Campus Tour.
We look forward to our current 9th graders and new students being next year’s Orientation Leaders!

High School Supply Info
There is no official supply list for Voyager High School students. As a 1:1 school, students are expected to bring their own device (laptop or Chromebook) each day. We also recommend coming prepared on the first day with paper, pens, and pencils. Teachers will share any additional class-specific supply needs during the first week of school.
We’re also gratefully accepting donations of tissues, paper towels, and disinfecting wipes for classroom use. These items can be dropped off at the front office during the first week. Thank you for your support!
