From the Managing Director's Desk, Feb. 11, 2018

Dear Viking Families,

We hope you had a lovely weekend! I wanted to take a quick moment to introduce you to our new MS assistant principal, Mr. Mitchell!. He brings 18 years of school experience.  He has worked in charter schools and worked with middle and high school students.  Things to know about Mr. Mitchell – He is very excited to be at Voyager.  If he were not in education, he would coach basketball or baseball.  Before coming to NC, he lived in Maryland.  He speaks 5 languages and the fact that is MOST important to Mrs. Johnson--------Mr. Mitchell is a TARHEEL!

In other exciting news, Dr. Nolan was able to work with a parent to secure 100 Stem Kits, donated  from biotechnology firm with a local office.  These types of partnerships are so appreciated in support of our students and the program.  Dr. Nolan sends a big Viking 'thank you!" to VAHS parent, Christine Lutterloh.

As we move through this week, we wish you all much love on Valentines Day!
Regards,
Jennifer Lucas, M. ED
Managing Director
