HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Chinese Language Students earn NC's Global Languages Endorsement (GLE)
On Friday, Nov. 30th Mr. Baker's Chinese Language & Culture III class took part in the HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi 汉语水平考试)--an internationally recognized Chinese Proficiency Test--with the majority of students passing and earning the NC Global Languages Endorsement!

The HSK is the standard for Chinese language proficiency tests, with many Chinese universities and companies requiring passing scores from applicants. The test was offered and proctored by the Confucius Institute of NC State University. Students who passed also qualified for the NC Global Languages Endorsement--an achievement that will be noted both on their transcripts and on their Diplomas when they graduate. They are the first students from Voyager Academy to ever receive this distinction for Chinese language.

We will use the money raised to help Voyager families who need support-- things like funding field trips, purchasing school supplies, and covering participation fees for sports and the arts. We will also use money raised to further develop our arts and technology departments. See the important links below:
