Voyager Athletics Annual Golf Tournament is April 7th
Hello Viking Families, it is that time of year again for our annual Athletic Department Golf Tournament. This year the tournament will be held on Sunday, April 7th at Hillandale Golf Course. As an entirely self-funded program Voyager Athletics hosts this tournament each year to support our athletes, coaching staff, and our school. We appreciate any and all support that this community is willing to give our youth as we strive to reach our goal of 130 golfers in this year’s tournament. We also are accepting sponsors for each hole of the tournament. Competitors will have a chance to win various prizes while they enjoy a great day of golfing.  Each athlete will have a copy of the entry form and the flyer or teams may contact Deuce Harris directly to register their team. Again, we thank everyone in advance for their contributions and support of one of our biggest fundraisers each year. The “shotgun start” at 8 am.

If you are willing to help please contact Deuce Harris at dharris@voyageracademy.net
Go, Vikings Go!

Time Flies When Your Having Fun!! (Mid-terms are Here!)
Wow!!! It is hard to believe it is time for midterm exams already!! Please make sure to encourage your student to be reviewing for the Biology Benchmark exam. Periods 1 and 3 will have their exam on Tuesday March 5th. Periods 2 and 4 will have their exam on Wednesday March 6th. This is a state made and state graded exam. Please have them study their notes and encourage them to retake the Google Form quizzes to review. If they are still struggling with a concept or just want another way to study have them check out Crash Course Biology or Bozeman Science on YOUTUBE. Have them get a good night’s sleep the night before the exam and wish them all the best of luck. They are all BIO ROCK STARS!!!

Raleigh National College Fair. March 19, 2019  4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Free and open to the public, National College Fairs are the perfect place to kick off your college search.

Admission representatives from schools across the country are all gathered in one place. Their goal: To encourage you to learn more about their institutions, and help you sort through the qualities you’re looking for in a college.

Use your visit to:
Explore your options. Each fair draws representatives from 175 to 400 colleges. The schools are located throughout the US, and from around the globe.

Ask questions. What’s college life like? What majors are popular on campus? Chatting with representatives from a variety of colleges can help you cement your own preferences.

Gather information. Pick up brochures and other materials about the schools that interest you. Ask admission reps to scan your barcode—an easy way to help colleges follow up with you after the fair.
