Voyager Academy Middle School News, May 5, 2019

Dear VAMS Families,

Wow, what a wonderful Spring Fling!  Thank you Emily Wilder and Voyager PTO for the terrific job you did planning a fun evening for students, parents, and staff.  The weather was fantastic, the food was delicious, and the games were lots of fun. If you missed the Spring Fling, you missed a fun time!

I want to thank all of you who have made donations to help the family of the 6th grader who lost his mother to cancer.  The family appreciates the support provided by the Voyager community.  Several of you asked if you could still make a donation. The answer is YES!  You may send your donation to me or you may hand it to me in car line like many parents have done. You may also send a gift card, such as gas card, Food Lion card,  or Target/Walmart card. Again, THANK YOU!!!!!

EOG Testing Dates
May 10 5th Grade Science EOG
May 15 4th Grade – 8th Grade Reading EOG
May 16 4th Grade – 8th Grade Math EOG
May 21 8th Grade Science EOG

Please put these dates on your calendar so your child/children will be in school on these dates and on time.  Students prefer taking the EOGs when their classmates take the EOG rather than on a make-up test day. Please do not schedule appointments on these days.

We will begin testing at 8:40 so our students need to be on time!  If they arrive after testing begins, they will have to sit in the lobby and participate in make-up tests later in the week.
