Voyager Academy Middle School News, May 19, 2023

  Hi Middle School Families,

Wow, what a busy week it has been!  We began the week getting ready for the End of Grade tests.  On Tuesday, we all had ELA tests, on Wednesday, we all had math tests, and on Thursday our 5th and 8th graders had a science EOG.  At this time I do not know the scores for the MS but what I do know is our students worked long and hard doing their best everyday.

I also want to thank moms and dads for making sure our students  got to school on time and were ready to work. Thank you for making sure your children were ready. Because of you we were ready to start on time and our students were ready.

I do want to remind parents of 6th, 7th and 8th graders that we are a Bring Your Own Device School which means our students should have their computer and it should be a priority that your 8th grader has a computer for high school as it is my understanding that HS does not have loaners and if they do there are only 2 or 3.

From what our students shared most of the students left early and the students shared that it was great to have a break before the next morning!

We do have a few makeup tests tomorrow so hopefully all students will arrive on time as we would like to begin make up tests at 8:30 and so the students can begin early and get back to class.

We are so thankful to have Altrenna Patterson    at the middle school as She is our Tech Teacher until the end of the school year.  Ms. Patterson is awesome and we will really miss her!

Families who have a negative balance on the account will no longer be permitted to order lunch online. Please be sure to send your student(s) to school with lunch if no meal was ordered. If your student's lunch account currently has a negative balance, we please ask that you pay this balance as soon as possible by either form of payment:

A check/ money order made payable to Voyager Academy. Please include your child's name and id# on the memo line. You can also use this pre-printed form.
