Help Needed for Interview Project at the High School, Tuesday, April 9th
The project will give all of Mr. Baker's Personal Finance students the chance to participate in a realistic job interview experience. Ideal helpers would be actual employers who might be interested in hiring some high schoolers for real jobs and/or internship opportunities right now, or maybe this summer; but any adult with interviewing experience or just the free time to help us would be appreciated! The project will take place from roughly 8:45 am through 12:10 pm on April 9th.  Any adults in the Voyager Family who would be willing and able to help with this Interview Project, please contact Mr. Baker at dbaker@voyageracademy.net.

Voyager Chorus earns SUPERIOR & EXCELLENT ratings at MPA's!
For the first time EVER Bull City Lights earned a SUPERIOR rating in BOTH Performance & Sight reading at this year's MPA Large Choral Festival on Wednesday, March 13th (this is the first time they've earned this accomplishment for Concert Choir!)
AND>>>>>Vocal Affinity earned an EXCELLENT rating in both categories as well. SHOUT OUT to the Tenors of Vocal Affinity---the weird/unexpected thing happened where the music fell off the piano during our performance---& they just kept going & sounded AMAZING! And...during the sight reading portion--they earned a SUPERIOR score for the rhythmic section! WAY TO GO Vocal Affinity!

To watch videos of each choir's performances, find us on our Facebook page: @VikingsChorus

Raleigh National College Fair. March 19, 2019  4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Free and open to the public, National College Fairs are the perfect place to kick off your college search.

Admission representatives from schools across the country are all gathered in one place. Their goal: To encourage you to learn more about their institutions, and help you sort through the qualities you’re looking for in a college.

Use your visit to:
Explore your options. Each fair draws representatives from 175 to 400 colleges. The schools are located throughout the US, and from around the globe.

Ask questions. What’s college life like? What majors are popular on campus? Chatting with representatives from a variety of colleges can help you cement your own preferences.

Gather information. Pick up brochures and other materials about the schools that interest you. Ask admission reps to scan your barcode—an easy way to help colleges follow up with you after the fair.
