From the Managing Director's Desk, April 7, 2019

Dear Viking Families,
It was another good week on campus. The good weather is coming in and we are finally seeing more work done on the field.  This weekend was a busy one with our Golf tournament and prom and our production of Aladdin! We hope you all enjoyed the many events happening all week.
Our board of directors is looking for a few great members to join to the board. Click here for the application. It is also available on our website. We are looking for family and community based members so please share this information with friends and family. If you or someone you know is interested in serving on our board please complete this application.
We are also excited to share some pictures of our middle school Battle of the Books.  Attached are some pictures from the competition on Friday.  The kids did great.  We did a 4th v. 5th grade competition and the 4th graders won by one point.  We had four students who read all 15 of the books - Bernadine de la Pena, Luke Rogers, Violet Davis & Luke Bakelaar.    Hali Bakelaar and Mary Taylor helped to coach the team, and Vivian & Mitch Brennan and Kate Bakelaar helped with the competition.

Spring Break Camp!
Are you looking for a fun, innovative camp to send your child(ren) to? Send them to Voyager! Our camps are full with math, science, and reading enrichment activities. Students will enjoy activities like jeopardy, fun-math relay, and writing/performing a play for their camp peers. Students even have the opportunity to be junior chefs during our cooking activity. (Yes, they will cook)! This year, we will also enjoy a field trip to Palace Pointe in Roxboro, NC! This camp IS open to school-aged students who do not attend Voyager.  As a reminder, there will be no camp/ school on "Good Friday," April 19, 2019! Visit our website to register!
