Voyager Academy Elementary School News, Nov. 11, 2018

Dear VAES Families,

Don’t forget that we have a long weekend.  Monday, November 12th is our Veteran’s Day Holiday and we will not have school for students and staff.  School will resume on Tuesday, November 13th.
We have had a very busy week this week with three project celebrations!!  On Tuesday, the 2nd grade presented their Sound and Culture Project.  WOW!! We were all so impressed by the countries and cultures that were represented.

Voyager Academy Middle School News, November 11, 2018

Dear VAMS Families,

Congratulations to Mr. Doug Price!  Mr. Price was nominated and named Voyager Academy Teacher of the Year this past spring.  He had several tasks to complete as he is now competing in the state competition. This week we learned that Mr. Price is one of the 10 finalists for NC Charter School Teacher of the Year.  Mr. Price will be interviewed by the Charter School Teacher of the Year Selection Committee in a couple of weeks. The team will narrow the field from 10 to 2 candidates. We are all cheering for Mr. Price!!!!  Mr. Price, we congratulate you and are very proud of you!
