Come and dance the night away at the like Gatsby at our high school prom on April 5th from 7:30-10:30. The Gatsby Gala: A Midnight Masquerade Prom will be held at Mountain View Farm (same place as last year), 111 Harris Mill Rd., Rougemont, NC.

Curious about research? Want to learn basic lab skills? Join us for a hands-on workshop
where we’ll cover essential lab techniques and discuss what research really looks like! This incredible workshop is a great way to learn more about college and professional research and also will look great on your college applications. 2025 Senior Breakfast and Awards Ceremony
The 2025 Senior Breakfast and Awards Ceremony will be held in the VAHS Gym on Weds April 30, 2025 from 8:45-10:30 a.m.. All 2025 seniors and their parents/guardians are encouraged to attend! Please see the flyer for more information. Also, as per VAHS tradition, the 9th-11th grade families of VAHS are encouraged to contribute food and drinks for the event. Join Us for PTSO’s March Spirit Event
Mark your calendars! The PTSO’s March Spirit Event is happening on Monday, March 31, from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM at Localicious Caribbean Ice Cream on N Duke Street (located in the shopping center behind/between Starbucks and Cookout).
We’ve planned this event for March 31 because it’s a special day—it’s both an early release day and the High School’s Project Exhibition Day! It’s the perfect opportunity to celebrate students’ hard work and enjoy a sweet treat while supporting our school.
Stop by, grab some delicious ice cream, and show your school spirit. A portion of sales will go toward supporting PTSO initiatives!

NC School of Science & Math Courses Offered
North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics Connect program provides distance education courses to schools across the state. Voyager Academy HS is a participating partner school. Students in grades 9-12 take tuition-free, honors-level, and AP courses in STEM and humanities from NCSSM via interactive video conferencing. Hey Seniors: The 2025–26 FAFSA Form Is Now Available
The 2025–26 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) form is now available for all seniors and contributors. Seniors planning to attend college next year and their parent(s)/guardian(s) need to complete the form to apply for financial aid for college, career school. Learn more and start the application here: https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa Paying for college is a big concern for students and families. Completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is one of the best ways to make the cost of college more manageable.
