VAHS Named To The 2023-24 Advanced Placement Honor Roll

VAHS was named to the 2023-2024 AP School Honor Roll! The AP School Honor Roll recognizes schools whose AP program is delivering results and broadening access for students.

Schools can earn the Honor Roll recognition annually based on their ability to increase their school’s college-going culture, to provide opportunities for students to earn college credit, and by maximizing college readiness. The AP School Honor Roll offers four levels of distinction: and Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze.  VAHS achieved an overall level of Silver. The categories  are as follows:

  • College Culture: 51% of VAHS seniors took at least one AP exam during high school (Silver level).

  • College Credit: 40% of VAHS seniors scored a three or higher on at least one AP exam (Gold level)

  • College Optimization: 16% of VAHS seniors took five or more AP exams! (Gold level)
