Time To Register For 2025-26 Classes
Hard to believe, but it is time for you to select your classes for next year! Please click on your link below to get to your course planner. You will use this form to plan your courses for next year. In the form, you will find a link to all the information you’ll need.

You can get assistance completing this form at Feb. 10th Advisory class.
When you hit “submit” you’ll be emailed a document with your choices. You will use that document as a guide to help you officially register for courses in Powerschool.

SPIRIT WEEK at VAHS is the week of February 10th - 14th
We have dress up days and home basketball games!
Monday Feb 10th - Pajama Day
Tuesday Feb 11th - Country vs. Country Club
Wednesday Feb 12th - Heroes vs. Villains
Thursday Feb 13th - Favorite Sports Team Day
Friday Feb 14th - Secret Service Day
On Thursday, Feb 13th come support our basketball teams. JV plays at 5pm and Varsity plays at 6:30pm.
All 9th-12th graders and 5th graders are invited to participate and show your school spirit!

VAHS Baseball Tryouts Are Feb. 12
Tryouts for the Voyager Academy High School Baseball Team will be held on February 12, 2025 at 6:30 pm at Southern Durham High School.

ACT Practice Test Session for Juniors 2/22/25
The staff at VAHS is offering an optional digital ACT Practice Test Administration for current Juniors on Saturday February 22, 2025 at 8:45 a.m.. This practice session will mimic the actual ACT State Testing being held at VAHS on March 11, 2025. The practice session is a great opportunity for students to experience the timing and testing conditions of a full length ACT. Parents can use this form to register their student, or students can register themselves.

Labs, Labs, and More Labs :)
Mrs. Punt's Biology classes have been busy finding stomata under the microscope, investigating osmosis through gummy bears (salt vs fresh water), and observing cellular respiration by comparing sugar in different cereals. We wanted to show off what we've been doing the last couple of weeks.

Come To PTSO Spirit Night For Dinner And Ice Cream
El Rodeo has agreed to partner with the PTSO and host a Spirit Night on Valentine's Day, Friday, 2/14. We also look forward to Spirit Nights at Localicious Caribbean Ice Cream on Monday, 3/31, and Goodberries on Friday, April 11.

Free Community College Courses While At VAHS: Durham Tech. Career &College Promise Interest Meeting Dates Are Now Available
Durham Tech's dual enrollment (https://www.durhamtech.edu/dual-enrollmen) is a unique educational opportunity that allows eligible 11th and 12th grade high school students to enroll in college-level courses while still attending high school. It offers a bridge between secondary and postsecondary education, giving students a taste of college life and academics before officially starting their higher education journey. Students can earn high school and college credits at the same time. Interest meeting dates for enrollment in the College and Career Promise (CCP) program are now live!

NC School of Science & Math Courses Offered
North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics Connect program provides distance education courses to schools across the state. Voyager Academy HS is a participating partner school. Students in grades 9-12 take tuition-free, honors-level, and AP courses in STEM and humanities from NCSSM via interactive video conferencing. Hey Seniors: The 2025–26 FAFSA Form Is Now Available
The 2025–26 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) form is now available for all seniors and contributors. Seniors planning to attend college next year and their parent(s)/guardian(s) need to complete the form to apply for financial aid for college, career school. Completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is one of the best ways to make the cost of college more manageable.
