Learning Outside The Classroom: Spanish Class Ventures Into The Community
On Thursday Ms. Vicéns' Spanish I and Spanish II classes went on a field trip to El Corral Mexican restaurant and to La Superior Mexican grocery store.
At the restaurant students ordered their food in Spanish and at the grocery store they had a photo scavenger hunt.
The students enjoyed realizing they were able to order and communicate way better than they expected and at the grocery store they were surprised by the different ingredients and items on sale.
