Car line reminders and rules

  • VAHS follows the Voyager Academy policy that prohibits student sign out less than 30 minutes before the end of 4th period (end of the day).

  • High school students may not be picked up at the elementary school or middle school.

  • Thank you so much for your patience with carline. As happens every year, it settles into a good routine after a week or so.

9th Grader Orientation A Success

On Thursday Aug. 6th, VAHS hosted a 9th grader orientation, as we welcome all new students to VAHS, and attendance was excellent! At VAHS we place an emphasis on including new students and helping them feel a sense of belonging. Among the goals of the orientation were to ensure a smooth transition, provide valuable information, and to put freshmen on a pathway to a successful and exciting high school experience.

Led by VAHS 10th-12th grade Orientation Leaders and Freshmen Advisors, orientation consists of activities, games, discussion, and general exploration. 9th graders experienced sessions on the following:

Canvas

Academic Rigor & Integrity

Sports, Clubs and Activities

Social-emotional Learning

A Campus Tour.

We look forward to our current 9th graders being next year’s Orientation Leaders!

The Senior Sunrise

The Senior Sunrise tradition continued this year as the class of 2027 gathered to watch the sun come up last week. This fun event helps build relationships and school spirit.  As you can see…

Bring Your Laptop!

Hey Voyager Vikings, remember that Voyager Academy is Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) school. All students are required to bring their own device to school each day. Please click here for the Voyager Academy BYOD policy.  (Also found in the Voyager Academy Student/Parent Handbook).

High School Supply Info

There is no official supply list for Voyager High School students. As a 1:1 school, students are expected to bring their own device (laptop or Chromebook) each day. We recommend coming prepared on the first day with the basics: paper; pens; and pencils. Teachers will share any additional class-specific supply needs during the first week of school.

We’re also gratefully accepting donations of tissues, paper towels, and disinfecting wipes for classroom use. These items can be dropped off at the front office during the first week. Thank you for your support!

Spring 2026 Final Exam Schedule

Below is the Spring 2026 VAHS Final Exam Schedule (click here for a printable version)

News From AP Biology: Gel Electrophoresis Murder Mystery Lab & Micropipette Art

Ms. Punt’s AP Biology class had some fun after the exam by finishing up the semester with solving a 90's inspired murder case with gel electrophoresis. Before we conducted the experiment, students also practiced their micropipette skills needed for the lab with some food dye and art. ... On another note, if you have a student in AP Bio, ask them what they did for their choice of the Roly Poly Behavior Lab! Many students came up with some great ideas to test their isopods' preferences.

Huntington's Awareness Month

The month of May is very busy for all of us but did you know that it's also Huntington's Awareness month?  Marty Larson visited many High School science classes on Friday, May 8, to present information related to Huntington's Disease.  Many of our students have expressed an interest in pursuing further education in the area of medicine and the discussions were very lively.  We talked about the many decisions that people with this genetic disposition must make - including diagnosis, treatment, and family planning.   We will definitely ask Mrs. Larson to come back again next May!
