We have had a fun week at VAES!! On Tuesday, we kicked-off our Boosterthon fundraiser with a pep rally and we have had a VAES spirit week!! I have really enjoyed seeing all the students dress up! Many of the costumes were so creative!!
Congratulations to our Boosterthon Door Decorating Contest Winners! 4th Place went to Mr. Tribotte, 3rd Place to Mrs. Ellis, 2nd Place to Ms. Spiro, and the 1st Place went to Mrs. Sawyer’s class! They really “knocked it out of the park” with their door!! Bravo!!
Also, a “shout out” to the Ellis Elephants for winning the silly string challenge and collecting the most pledges on Wednesday night! A big thank you to our Boosterthon team, Briana and Carrie!!!
Remember that family and friends anywhere in the world can support VAES by giving pledges toward the number of laps (30-35 laps) your student will run on the day of the Fun Run or they can also make a flat donation.
Also, we needed to tweak the times of our Boosterthon Fun Run for Thursday, Nov. 9 at the MS Field to accommodate lunch. The New Fun Run Times for Thursday, Nov. 9 at the MS Field are:
- Kindergarten/1st Grade: 11:00 - 12:00
- 2nd/3rd Grade: 1:00 - 2:00
