We are
starting a middle school band program at Voyager Academy! We would love for
your middle schooler to be a part. Please join us for an interest meeting on
Thursday, January 11, 2018 in the middle school gymnasium. We will have Music
& Arts representative, Tina Rippe present to answer questions about

ENRICHMENTS
The
fall semester of Enrichments has come to an end! The students really enjoyed
each of their classes, and I know they are looking forward to the Spring 2018
semester. Please take time to view the pictures and videos from the fall

SPRING 2018 ENRICHMENT SESSION

Class Alert!!! We are now able to add the piano class back to our enrichment
course offerings. Visit our website for more specific information.
We are
also starting the Voyager Academy Middle School Band! Please see the attached
flyer for information regarding the interest meeting!
Online
registration for all enrichment classes will open on Monday, January 8, 2018
and end Wednesday January 17, 2018. Classes will begin on Monday, January 22. Please
check the website regularly for class updates!
Since
we normally run in to inclement weather in the Spring semester, I
have built 2 weeks of "make-up" classes into the schedule, just in case
this happens. In the event we have to cancel classes, the two possible make up
weeks are May 7, 2018 and/or May 14, 2018.
There
will be NO classes offered on the weeks of:

January 29 (teacher work day)

February 19
(teacher work day)
·
March 12 (Spring Break).
Please
save these dates and plan accordingly.

BOOKS!
We are
in need of 2nd and 3rd grade reading level books for the students to
read during after care. Each day, we ensure the students complete their 20
minute reading requirement before playing. The students are growing tired of
the book selection that we have and would LOVE to have new choices! If you have
any books that perhaps your children have outgrown, please consider donating
them to after school! We would be so appreciative.
As a
friendly reminder to parents, registration for both programs (before and after
school) is open all school-year. Students may begin attending either program at
any time. Information about the programs can be found on our Voyager School
website.
