This is a very important time of year as End of Grade tests in grades 4-8 will soon be upon us. Our teachers are planning terrific lessons for our students so we need our students to come to school and to be on time. This is not the time of year to take trips and have your child miss days of school. Each day your child misses school he or she misses direct instruction provided by the teacher. It is also important that students are on time. When students arrive late, they are already behind! Please help your child by having them to school and on time!
Spring Pictures – Individual and Class
We will have Spring Pictures and Class Pictures taken on Monday, March 25. Students received pictures envelopes last week. All students will be part of the Class Picture but only students returning the envelopes with payment will have individual pictures taken!
NC Check Ins
Our third and final round of NC Check Ins are in process. Our fourth and fifth graders completed their reading and math Check Ins on Wednesday and Thursday.
Our 8th graders will complete their reading and math NC Check Ins on Monday, March 25 and Tuesday, March 26. Our 6th and 7th graders will take the NC Check Ins in April.
Sixth grade NC Check Ins are April 3rd and 4th.
Seventh grade NC Check Ins are April 9th and 10th.
EOG Testing Dates
May 10 5th Grade Science EOG
May 15 4th Grade – 8th Grade Reading EOG
May 16 4th Grade – 8th Grade Math EOG
May 21 8th Grade Science EOG
Please put these dates on your calendar so your child/children will be in school on these dates and on time. Students prefer taking the EOGs when their classmates take the EOG rather than on a make-up test day. Please do not schedule appointments on these days.

Order your yearbook now! You can order online or you can complete the information on the order form that was sent home with all students and include your payment in the envelope. Checks should be made payable to Strawbridge. If you order online, go to strawbridge.net. The online code is 108404.
Science - Science Night is scheduled at the elementary school on March 26 from 5:00-7:00. There will be lots of learning and lots of fun!
Aladdin is Coming – Yes, another fabulous musical is on the way! Aladdin will be performed at the middle school on April 4, April 5, and April 6. Doors open at 6:30 and the musical begins at 7:00. Please put these dates on your calendar!
8th Grade Graduation – Many of you have asked about our 8th Grade Graduation. Our 8th Grade Celebration, not graduation, is scheduled for Friday, May 24. We will begin at 8:45 and it is usually an hour. 8th graders may leave after the celebration.
