Our 6th grade students are sharing their Space Projects. The students are sharing facts about their space colony in hopes parents will provide funding for their project. Much research took place as well as team work when creating and presenting their projects.
Elective Registration for 7th and 8th Graders for Second Semesters
On Thursday, 7th and 8th grade students received an Elective Registration form to take home and share with parents. Students need to rank their second semester elective courses and return the completed form with a parent signature to Mrs. Johnson by Monday, Oct. 21st
Report Cards
Students received their first quarter report card on Friday, Oct. 18. Be on the lookout!
Representative Craig Horn
On Thursday, we had the privilege of having Representative Craig Horn visit Voyager Middle School. Representative Horn spent time with a 6th grade Core Connections class and a 5th grade Social Studies class. After spending time in the classrooms, Representative Horn and I spent time talking about Voyager, charter schools, public schools, along with other educational topics. I must say I was thoroughly impressed with the knowledge Representative Horn has regarding education.

Fall Festival
Voyager’s Fall Festival is Friday, Oct. 25 from 6:00-8:30. I’m sure all will have a great time!

If you are interested in basketball and want to practice with Coach Ryan please join him on Friday, Oct. 25 at 6:00. This is the last Open Gym time. Please be mindful that Open Gym could be cancelled if the volleyball tournament is played at Voyager Middle School. Stay tuned!
MS Boys and Girls Basketball Interest Meetings
On Friday, students interested in trying out for the girls’ and boys’ basketball teams were invited to the basketball interest meeting. If they attended the meeting, they received a single sheet of paper sharing what needs to be completed in order to tryout. If they did not receive the information, please let me know and I can email it to you.
