Voyager Academy Elementary School News, Dec. 8, 2019

Hi!
There is certainly a spirit in the air and our kids are super excited at this time of the year.  I love the wonder of their spirit and the sweetness they exude. We are so lucky to share this season with you all.

Professional Development:  This Monday, our staff will be working on Progress Reports that will be sent home to you on December 13.
School of Readers:  Our tree in the lobby will be decorated by students as they are able.  The theme will be around academics and special area subjects such as reading, math, music, art, science, LEGOS or physical education.  I look forward to seeing the crafts and designs they come up with for the tree.

Our teachers have worked very hard to coordinate all of the grade levels to prepare, and to practice for this big event.
Message from our Counselor:  Keeping up with our annual tradition of sharing holiday cheer we will be doing a gift drive for families who can use a little extra this year. If you would like to purchase gifts for a child or family, you can contact me, Melissa Meckes, or come on in and grab a tag off of our Holiday Bucket. Please turn in your purchased gifts to me by December 9th so that gifts can be disseminated to families. Feel free to contact me about any questions.
Thank you!!
Melissa
