Welcome Back

Welcome back Vikings!  Even in light of our “false start,” it has been a very successful school opening.  Schedules are settled and students and teachers quickly got into the groove, in class.  We also encourage students to get involved outside the classroom with a sport or a club. Click here to see all of the great clubs and organizations available to students.  We are looking forward to an exciting year.

As a source of general information, please use the Voyager Academy High School website (http://voyageracademy.net/vahs). Here you will find the daily bell schedule.

Car line reminders

  • High school students may not be picked up at the elementary school or middle school.

  • Thank you so much for your patience with carline. As happens every year, it settles into a good routine after a week and a half or so.

9th Grader/New Student Orientation

On Wednesday Aug. 7th, VAHS hosted an all day 9th grader/new student orientation, as we welcome all new students to VAHS. Among the goals of the orientation were to ensure a smooth transition, provide valuable information, and to put freshmen and new students on a pathway to a successful and exciting high school experience.

Orientation consists of activities, games, discussion, and general exploration, led primarily by upper-class student volunteers. 9th graders and new students experienced sessions on the following: Canvas; Academic Rigor & Integrity; Sports, Clubs and Activities; Social-emotional Learning; A Campus Tour.

Welcome again to 9th graders and new Voyager Academy students!!

The Senior Sunrise

The Senior Sunrise tradition continued this year as seniors gathered to watch the sun come up last week before the first day of school. This fun event helps build relationships and school spirit.  As you can see…

Bring Your Laptop!

Hey Voyager Vikings, remember that Voyager Academy is Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) school. All students are required to bring their own device to school each day. Please click here for the Voyager Academy BYOD policy.  (Also found in the Voyager Academy Student/Parent Handbook).

VAHS Club Fair Monday August 26, 2024

All VAHS students will be attending the VAHS Club Fair on Monday August 26 during Advisory. This is a time for students to learn about the exciting existing clubs that are available at VAHS! Tables will be set up so club members can show off their events, talents, and activities. All Vikings are encouraged to sign up to join a club. This is also an opportunity for students to learn how to establish any new clubs that they are interested in.

New VAHS Students Are Invited To Lunch (on 8/19)

Students of all grades who are new to Voyager are invited to lunch in Mr. Patterson's room (E140) on Monday, 8/19. Pizza will be provided! This is an opportunity for new students to get to know one another and talk about their transition to Voyager. Counselors will also be able to help with any questions, emails, canvas, schedules, etc.
