A Special Thank You to Dr. Monique Link During National School Social Work Week

Voyager Academy is proud to recognize and thank our school social worker, Dr. Monique Link, for the incredible support she provides to our school community.

Dr. Link plays a vital role in supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional well-being through compassionate guidance, collaboration with families and staff, and a strong commitment to helping every student succeed. She brings Voyager students, families, and educators together to create a caring and inclusive school environment.

Attention Parents/Guardians: Attendance Reporting Update – Transition to Infinite Campus

Starting Monday, March 16, all absences must be reported directly through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. At that time, the Google Form will no longer be active.

We encourage families to begin using Infinite Campus now to report any upcoming absences. Reporting through Infinite Campus allows for more accurate and efficient attendance processing and keeps all information in one secure location.

If you need assistance accessing your Parent Portal account, please contact our Student Information Manager with Charter Success Partners, Zachary Perry, at zacharyp@chartersuccesspartners.com

Thank you for your cooperation as we make this transition!

Vikings Basketball Reaches 1st Final Four in 10 years

Darin Jones’ 25 points lead Voyager Academy past Franklin Academy. Vikings reach 1st Final Four in 10 years.

Voyager Academy secured an exciting 56–52 victory over Franklin Academy in a hard-fought matchup that kept fans on the edge of their seats until the final moments. The game was intense from start to finish, with both teams battling for control.

Voyager was led by Darin Jones, who scored an impressive 25 points and provided key plays down the stretch. Ethan Carey also contributed significantly with 12 points, helping keep Voyager’s offense steady during critical stretches of the game, while D.J. Lindsey and Carlos Green anchored the defense.

Franklin Academy continued to pressure Voyager throughout the fourth quarter, but strong defense and clutch plays helped Voyager hold on as the clock wound down. The close finish highlighted the team’s resilience and ability to perform under pressure.
With the win, Voyager continues its strong season and advances to the Eastern Regional Championship game(Final Four). They hope to see you at ECU in Greenville this Saturday to cheer them on.

The game begins at 2:00pm

Student Advocacy Spotlight: Mack McGuire

This week, Voyager student Mack McGuire traveled to Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. as a Youth Ambassador with the Tourette Association of America. During the visit, Mack met with members of Congress and their staff to advocate for continued funding for Tourette syndrome research and support programs.

Youth Ambassadors are selected through a competitive national application process. Students are chosen based on their leadership, advocacy goals, and willingness to share their personal experiences to help educate others about Tourette syndrome. As part of the program, ambassadors receive advocacy training and work together to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and promote the importance of research and resources for individuals and families affected by Tourette syndrome.

Mack had the opportunity to share her story and help lawmakers better understand the needs of the Tourette community. We are incredibly proud of her for representing our Voyager community and using her voice to make a difference on a national stage!
