Dear VAMS Families,
8th grade parents,
Please put February 12th on your calendar! On Feb. 12, we will have a high school information session for all rising 9th graders and their parents. We will meet in the middle school gym at 6:00. You will learn valuable info about scheduling, courses, etc. that will help you make decisions regarding next year. I’ve heard some of the info that will be shared with you and I think you and your 8th grader will be excited about high school when you leave the meeting!

CAR LINE
I want to thank all of you who pickup your children during our afternoon car line. You have been extremely supportive of the process that we implemented. Thank you for following the directions that we shared in a letter that was sent home. You have done a great job having your signs in your car window with you child’s 4 digit number on the sign. Each day has gotten better and better! On Thursday we had all cars that were in line loaded by 3:40. Please make sure you get to school on time. We had students waiting for their parent pickup at 4:00. Please get to afternoon car line on time.

BASKETBALL
We are so proud of our boys’ and girls’ basketball teams. Both teams have had a very successful year. Not only have they won many games, they have also shown great teamwork and sportsmanship on the court. Next week is the Conference Tournament. Both teams will play Wednesday night and will hopefully play again on Friday! Let’s pack the house!

100th DAY – MS. VURNAKES 4th GRADERS
The fourth graders in Ms. Vurnakes room celebrated the 100th Day of School. They researched what they would look like if they were 100 years old. What fun the students had with the 100th Day of School!

Dear Parents,
Please help make our Teacher Appreciation Week a success. We are fortunate to have wonderful teachers and staff at Voyager Academy. The Hospitality Committee has planned lunch on Tuesday, February 13th but cannot make it a success without your help. Please review the link below and volunteer to help with food and or time. We need a variety of dishes as well help cleaning and covering our teacher's lunch periods. The teachers love being able to spend time with their peers and enjoy the lunch coverage. Please consider donating your time! Thanks in advance for your consideration.
