Dear VAMS Families,
Oh my goodness, what a week! I am so proud of our students and all the work they did on a week that was most unusual! Yes, there was excitement and all enjoyed a short week but we continued teaching and learning!
We are all very thankful that from what we have heard our families were safe during the storm. All of us have been thinking about our eastern part of the state and the tornadoes and wind and rain that hit our coast.
Delayed Opening
Great job with the 2 hour delay on Friday! Remember if we have a delayed opening, there is no morning care. That means middle school students may not be dropped off at the elementary school.

Lunch Coverage and Luncheons
Our first Teacher Luncheon of the year will be September 17th. Please review the sign-up and help if you are able. We appreciate anything you can contribute (paper goods, food, time, etc). This first sign up has alot of information, please read the first page thoroughly. We have included a sign-up link for teacher lunch coverage.
