Dear Voyager Community,
Happy spring to everyone! Hopefully, the warmer weather returns for our spring break next week. School will be closed during spring break from April 2, 2021 through April 11, 2021. Spring is in the air on campus and our teachers have incorporated project based learning experiences to support student growth and engagement. Our EC Middle School students in Mrs. Allen’s class have planted strawberry patches as part of the science program. We can’t wait to watch them grow.

We are ready for a strong finish to wrap up the 4th quarter of the school year.

Congratulations Science Olympiad Award Winners
Our Junior Varsity Elementary Science Olympiad Team (1st-3rd graders) did a great job at the regional tournament! Together they competed in 10 science related events and medaled in 4 of them! It’s even more impressive considering the tournament didn’t have enough JV teams to group them together, so our JV team had to go against the other varsity teams instead (who typically have mostly 4th & 5th graders)! We are so proud of the work these students put into learning and competing in their events: Elise Lemm, Ella Ritter, Arianna Snipes, Phoebe Oakley, Connor Markham, and Thaddeus Robinson.
Our Varsity Elementary Science Olympiad Team (4th & 5th graders) did an amazing job at the regional tournament! Together they competed in 11 science related events and medaled in 7 of them! We are so proud of the work these students put into learning and competing in their events: Reagan Gross, Rory Jantz, Reid Oakley, Max Ford, Zach Robinson, Shreya Pani, Insoo Shin, Jason Iwara and Lane Zebrowski.

LUNCH REFUNDS AND ORDER CANCELLATIONS
There were a few remote days, a teacher workday and an adverse weather remote day in the month of March where lunch orders were placed. The following actions were taken on your account to reconcile those balances.
If you placed a lunch order for Thursday March 18th, your order has been transferred to Thursday, April 1st. You do not need to order lunch for April 1st.
Orders placed for March 15th, 25th and 26th were issued a refund for those orders on Friday, March 19th.
If your student will be absent for a scheduled appointment, please contact us to cancel your order at least two days in advance.
Refunds cannot be issued once orders have been placed with the vendor. The items will likely be discarded once delivered to the school.
Refunds usually take 1-3 days to finish processing. If you have not received your refund or have questions about your refund/order, please contact Charter Pay Support at support@chartersuccesspartners.com or 888-485-4643.

Greenlight App –
REMEMBER TO SET UP YOUR GREENLIGHT ACCOUNT AND CHECK IN EVERYDAY. THIS WILL BE USED FOR THE HEALTH SCREENING DURING CARLINE.
We have partnered with Duke and Greenlight Ed to complete our daily health screening to ensure our school. Please set up your Greenlight account today and complete the survey daily for each child even while your children are learning remotely. We will use this data and input to ensure we are ready for reopening safely. The links to set up your account are below.
ACTION NEEDED: Directions and links to set up your Greenlight Account
Setting up your account is simple. Select the link below and enter the email address you use to receive Voyager newsletters. Families with multiple children can select any school their children attend. Staying current on all of the health metrics and data is also part of our ongoing process. As we work together to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, please remind your children about the importance of the 3 W’s (Wear, Wait, & Wash). Wear a mask, practice social distancing by waiting and maintaining a 6-foot space between others, and wash hands frequently to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.
