TEACHER OF THE YEAR: Each year the Voyager Academy Staff selects a Teacher of the Year, Young Educator of the Year and a Teacher Assistant of the Year. Each building has a winner and then those winners are interviewed and overall winners are also honored. We are pleased to announce the elementary Teacher of the Year is Mrs. Coral McDonald (from 1st grade). Our Young Educator of the Year is Ms. Arianna Vargas (from kindergarten) and our Teacher Assistant of the Year is Mrs. Angie Oakley (from 2nd grade). Congratulations to all of these amazing educators. We are so proud of you.
VOYAGER ART SHOW: VAES Art Show was amazing. Thank you to everyone who came out to support our program. Please feel free to email me with what you liked about the event and provide any suggestions for improvement as well.
CAMP READ A LOT: Camp Read-A-Lot was so much fun. Our students spent the majority of the day completing a variety of reading activities related to camping. Everywhere you looked, you could find tents, flashlights, books and camp fires. We even had some classes cooking hotdogs and making smores! ASK YOUR STUDENT TO TELL YOU ABOUT CAMP READ-A LOT.
