Good
morning everyone! We hope your long fall break has started off well and you
have plans to enjoy your family time! There was a lot going on here at Voyager
last week, so please get caught up on all our great news! I would like to
congratulate one of our elementary teachers who was recognized as WQDR’s Gold Star Teacher of the Month! A huge
congratulations goes to Heather Roberts and all of her hard work for our kids.
She is a wonderful teacher and we could not agree more with her selection.
Although we are on fall break, we still have plenty happening this week. The gym floors will be resurfaced, we have a driver’s ed class going on, and Voyager was selected to host the Office of Charter Schools statewide Charter Leadership Conference. Over 150 guests will join us this week and I am proud to share our campus and show them our student work.
High
School midterms were completed last week so if you are in high school, we hope
you get a nice break before jumping back to it October 16th! Scores
will be sent out as soon as they are available. Thanks to everyone for your
hard work and commitment to excellence.
We
hope you all have a relaxing week ahead of you and look forward to seeing you
all soon. Stay Dry!
Regards,
Jennifer Lucas, M. ED
