Dear VAES Families,
Thank you for your kindness and generosity! There are no more tags on our special “Giving Tree” and we are collecting the gifts. Gifts must be turned in wrapped to the elementary school by Monday, December 11th. The tag has a special label on it you can use to mark who is to receive the gift.
Voyager Academy is hosting a BLOOD DRIVE! Please donate blood and or time on MONDAY, DECEMBER 11 FROM 1:30 – 6:00 in the Voyager Academy Elementary Gym.

Come join the Voyager High School cheerleaders for an evening of cheerleading on Tuesday. January 16, 2017! All camp participants will attend camp from 4:00-6:00 then cheer during the first half and half-time of the Voyager Academy High School Varsity girl’s game against East Wake Academy. DECEMBER'S ELEMENTARY SCHOOL HOSPITALITY LUNCHEON WILL BE HELD THURSDAY, DECEMBER 14TH AND THE MENU WILL FOLLOW A COMFORT FOOD THEME. BRING YOUR FAVORITES!
Please sign up to bring a dish, supplies, and/or give of your time by helping to either set up/serve/clean up. Click the link for loads of details and easy opportunities to help treat our elementary teachers and staff to a delicious lunch. If you're able, the day of the luncheon is also a great day to provide lunch coverage for your child's teacher. If you have questions or you would like to be added to the Hospitality Committee's e-mail distribution list so that you automatically receive an invitation to the sign up genius for future luncheons at the elementary school, please send a request to VAEShospitality@gmail.com.

Don't forget that a Middle School student needs donations of crayons, colored pencils, coloring books, etc. for Duke Children’s Hospital gift bags. Please drop these items off at VAES Office and we will be sure that the student receives them.
Please check to see if your child’s missing jacket, coat, sweater, water bottle, lunchbox, etc. is in our Lost and Found!! The Lost and Found is located near the elevators on the first grade hallway. All items that have not been claimed and picked up by Tuesday, December 19 at 3:15 PM will be donated to charity.

Coach Huff Christmas Break Basketball Camp Dec 27-29
Voyager basketball coach, Mike Huff, will be conducting a basketball camp over the Christmas holidays for boys and girls in grades 3-8. The camp is open to both Voyager and non-Voyager students. The camp will be held December 27-29 from 9:00-12:00 each day. There is also an option for early drop-off.
