Thank you for volunteering and making our K – 3 field day a big success!!! Also, a BIG THANK YOU to our PE teachers, Marie Flowe-Dawson and Brenda Derrick!!! Wow!!! Each year, we think that this was the best field day EVER and once again, you all surpassed last year!! Thank you for all your hard work, time, and energy!!

Last, but not least, thank you to the many families that surprised me this week with some very special gifts!! I know I will enjoy treating myself to the spa day and I love the beautiful framed message of “When the Saints Go Marching In”, it was one of my dad’s favorite songs! However, words cannot express what your donation of the books to the library in my father’s name means to me!! My father began his career as a teacher and taught History for 13 years. He was a voracious reader and loved receiving books as gifts. He instilled the love of reading in me!! Thank you for continuing his love of reading and learning at Voyager. I am truly so thankful and humbled by all the love and support everyone has shown me and my family!! I know we are blessed to be a part of such a kind and loving community!!

VAES YEARBOOKS Have Arrived
Pre-ordered VAES Yearbooks were delivered to classrooms this past week and should have come home with your student. If you have questions about pre-ordered yearbooks, please contact Leslie Jewell at leslieljewell@gmail.com.

We are continuing to host the Usborne Books eFair for Voyager Academy Elementary. They have some fabulous book choices for under $5.00! This is a great way for parents to purchase some excellent books for summer reading and consider buying a book for your child’s teacher to add to their classroom libraries. College Day & Voyager Spirit Day:
We have College Day every Thursday and Voyager Day every Friday. All staff, students, and parents can wear their favorite college apparel on Thursdays and Voyager apparel and/or our school colors (red, white, and blue) to show school spirit and pride on Fridays!!
