VOYAGER VOTES!

Voyager students civically engaged the adult world last Friday and became first-time voters. Around 30 students participated in Durham's Early Voting window during their lunch period.  We encourage all Voyager stakeholders to Vote in the NC primary elections. Mr. Gatlin is especially proud of all of these students and believes our democracy is stronger because of them.

AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE ABOUT STUDENT HEALTH

As you may or may not be aware, “vaping” and/or "juuling"(the use of E-cigarettes) has become an unhealthy trend among children and young adults, from middle through high school nationwide.  As the safety and health of our students is a top priority at VAHS, all students received a presentation on Feb. 13th about the effects of this unhealthy activity, as well as the Voyager Academy consequences.

To see the presentation that the students received, please click here.  Parents/guardians are encouraged to reinforce this very important message at home.

As always, thank you so much for your continued support.
