Voyager Academy Athletics News, March 1, 2020

Our winter sports seasons have come to a close this week. We are very proud of all of our winter sport student athletes!  From our high school girls and boys basketball teams and cheerleaders, our wrestling team, and swimming team. As well as our middle school boys and girls basketball teams and cheerleaders.  They have worked very hard and represented Voyager Academy in a way that makes us proud!
Spring sports have begun with a few scrimmages and will be in full swing this upcoming week.  Make sure you check our schedules on our athletics webpage and come support our Vikings!

If your student has made a spring sports team and you are wondering why you don't see an athletic fee in Charter Pay, it is because they have not been assigned yet.  Once I have all of the rosters finalized and can assign fees I will reach out to coaches and let them know that it is ready to go. Thank you for your patience.

Students, athletes, parents, and staff.  Please help us keep our beautiful multipurpose stadium nice! If you see students hanging on the soccer nets, dragging things around on the turf, breaking the corner flags, leaving trash(pencils, sharp objects) on the playing field, etc, PLEASE speak up! This space is for all to use and we want to keep it that way however we need to all make sure that we are treating the athletic equipment as it should be and not as a jungle gym.  Thanks in advance for the help!

.As always, a big thanks to our sponsors, El Rodeo, North Durham Orthodontics (Dr. Gina Lee), EmergeOrtho, and Chick-Fil-A Roxboro Rd., who play such a huge role in allowing us to use athletics as a way to teach our students outside of the classroom
