Hi Middle School Families,
Wow, another busy week!
Parents,
We are noticing an uptick in cases of various symptoms and illnesses, especially flu, among our students especially in 7th grade. COVID cases are increasing in Durham and flu cases are also exceptionally high in our surrounding community. If your child is complaining of not feeling well before the school day starts, please keep them home for further monitoring and have them remain home until they are feeling well enough to actively participate in learning during the school day. **PLEASE REMEMBER - if your child is on a sports team or extracurricular activity and did not attend school that day (or went home early) due to illness, they should NOT attend their practice, game, event, or competition.**

Hi Middle School Families,
Wow, it’s hard to believe it’s Dec. 9!
Last weekend our fourth and fifth graders were part of the Seussical the Musical. The performances were awesome.
Our 6th graders have been creating their own plays along with their set. Wednesday was their practice day and delivery of all the set pieces to Braggtown Baptist Church. Thanks Braggtown Baptist for allowing us to use the church to perform. The real performances for our 6th graders were Thursday and Friday with two performances on each day. Awesome!

Dear Voyager Community,
It’s been another fabulous week at Voyager. Learning and extracurricular activities are in full swing on campus. Thank you to all the families that joined Dr. Link for the first “Voyage into Service” project at the Diaper Bank in Raleigh on Saturday. This volunteer initiative will help the Diaper Bank meet the needs of families across the Triangle. Our volunteers packed over 18,000 diapers to serve 300 families. Our Varsity Soccer team also had an amazing win on Monday night in triple overtime and will continue to play in the next round of the tournament. We wish the team continued success!

It was another exciting week across campus. The National Honor Society Induction was held at the high school with 33 new members inducted. Honorees were selected based on the 4 pillars of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. We are proud of the accomplishments of all NHS students shown below.
