From the Managing Director's Desk March 30, 2018

Dear Vikings,

As many of you know we were fortunate to host the survivors from MSD high school. Although it was a difficult decision as to whether or not to host them, we all felt strongly that this was an opportunity to take advantage of, for our students.
We wanted to allow these students to share their experience and to demonstrate how this event has led them to civic action. We do not and did not encourage any particular political agenda but it is imperative that we recognize that children today are the adults tomorrow and civic action is both their right and their responsibility in all aspects in life. We encourage all of you to speak with your own children about how YOUR family feels about this and many other newsowrhty items and encourage them to become leaders and role models in those things that are most important to you. At  Voyager we believe it is our responsibility to teach empathy and responsibility and though we may have different values or beliefs, we can all agree that students who are informed and articulate and passionate can make a difference in their own futures. We applaud our students for their compassion and we applaud their willingness to serve as role models and community leaders in the future.

We wish you all a  happy and healthy well-deserved spring break! See you in April!
